A letter from a very satisfied customer with "Huggy" "On Monday morning an American Airlines plane crashed outside my sons bedroom window. ...I was home with my 4 year old daughter and my 9 year old son. We evacuated to safety and were able to return home on Tuesday night." "I am writing to thank you for the teddy bear that was given to my daughter through the Red Cross. There was a note on it from a little girl named "Gloria" with your schools address." "I would like for you to show this picture of my daughter with "Huggy" to your students so that they can see that they do make a difference. This picture was taken in front of our house, less than 100 yards from the crash. My children attend St. Francis de Sales School, only 2 blocks from here. Their school has been closed all week and "Huggy" has kept them company. My husband is a NYC firefighter who assisted in the rescue efforts at the WTC on Sept. 11th. As you might be aware, our neighborhood was badly affected by the WTC incident and many of our friends and neighbors are still missing at Ground Zero. We consider ourselves to be very lucky. Thank you!"
