American Freedom Ride
and The
Great Big Teddy Bear Hug
are efforts to bring both emotional and financial support to the
children who were so tragically affected by the terrorist attacks in
September. Multiple organizations have embarked upon fundraising
missions to attend to the immediate needs of the families, and we
applaud those efforts from throughout the country.
Raising Hope established the 9-11 Web of Support in an effort to assist the families of those who perished at the hands of terrorists on September 11, 2001. Donations that are made through Raising Hope's 9-11 Web of Support are divided equally between six organizations that have been identified by President Bush and the Governors of New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia as legitimate non-profit organizations to which funding should be directed.
