Here is the route from Los Cruces, NM to Lubbock, Texas on Tuesday, October 30, 2001

A special thanks to Captain Don Morrison of the New Mexico State Police for arranging that the teddy bears receive an escort for their entire route across New Mexico.

The riders were met at the Texas border by the Texas State Troopers and escorted into El Paso where the El Paso Police Department escorted them through the city.  Special thanks to the officers and troopers in West Texas who have joined the ride and for the fire fighters who came out to sign the truck.

Also, thanks to Barnett Harley Davidson for welcoming us on such late notice.

Thanks again to the Texas DPS officers for their amazing showing of support to the riders as they crossed West Texas, county by county.  Please encourage the remaining counties in Texas to join in so we can guarantee complete coverage!  You people are awesome!  But, as my wife told me from the cell phone today, "Hey, what did you expect?  They're Texans!"
